Azure DevOps Engineer

• Determine, in consultation with the use case teams, which new features are needed for the platform and how they should be designed, and subsequently develop these features yourself.
• Assess the feasibility of requirements proposed by the business.
• Work together with your colleagues to ensure the stability of the platform, handling incidents related to the features you have developed.
• Build a platform that provides real-time insights into the status of a machine. Based on data, this platform can predict potential machine failures, identify maintenance needs, and provide insights to prevent downtime.

The organization is one of Europe's largest manufacturers, serving multiple demanding markets worldwide. These markets include construction, infrastructure, automotive, packaging, and engineering.

IT within the organization is constantly evolving, and as an Azure DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for further rolling out and developing an asset monitoring platform. This platform is used across multiple sites and supports thousands of installations. You will collaborate with various use case teams to discuss the required new features, assess their feasibility, and subsequently develop them. In addition, you and your colleagues will be responsible for the platform's stability, proactively monitoring the features you have developed. When necessary, you will resolve incidents and identify areas for structural improvement.

You will be part of a department that consists of a platform team focused on the application and back-end development of a platform dashboard. You will also work closely with use case teams that add value through algorithms. Overall, your goal is to drive innovation and have the freedom to come up with efficient and structural solutions.

• At least a completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or a related field.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written. Dutch is nice to have.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in developing front-end and back-end software solutions, ideally with Python, Angular, and Cloud.
• A strong drive to acquire new knowledge.
• Ability to act as a sparring partner.
• Experience with Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, SQL Databases, and Docker is nice to have.
• Experience with Agile working is nice to have.
• Able to work independently and quickly adapt to new information.
