As a key member of our dynamic team, Vice President, Change Management and Organizational Effectiveness will play a critical role in "bringing people along the journey” to enable ManpowerGroup to realize the people-dependent portion of an ROI whilst helping to improve organizational effectiveness. You’ll lead the change management community and be accountable for the performance and results of the Change & Organizational Effective Office. You’ll provide subject matter leadership and adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges. Additionally, you’ll closely collaborate with business leaders across the company to oversee the design and implementation of practical change management solutions in response to business needs.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership
- Responsible for the engagement, professional development and performance of the CMO team.
- Determine required learning and development outcomes for the team; provide guidance in the creation of development plans; monitor ongoing progress and provide coaching, mentoring and feedback to ensure growth.
- Guide the establishment and ongoing evolution of the Change Management Office, including resources, methodology, processes, tools, and their use across the enterprise.
- Assess enterprise-wide capability for managing change; identify opportunities to improve managers’ ability to lead change and employees’ ability to absorb change to ensure successful adoption and benefits realization.
- Define and measure change management success metrics and dashboards to monitor the effectiveness of change capabilities and strategies.
- Own CMO (Change Insights) data and reporting to executive leadership.
- Drive awareness and promote the value, impact and propagation of change management principles, resources, methods and tools across the enterprise.
- Oversee quality, consistency and delivery of ManpowerGroup's change methodology, tools, and resources.
- Partner with the Global Learning and Development team to update and deploy the change management curricula to the global enterprise.
- Lead the demand management process to assess and prioritize the change management requirements and OCM resource needs for enterprise and regional projects.
- Use formal tools and processes to manage the deployment of change resources, monitor delivery and manage risks.
- Provide technical management for change management practitioners responsible for providing change management services at a portfolio, program and project level.
- Ensure that change management objectives are met and all relevant methodologies/standards are followed; ensure that operational problems are identified and resolved; and that operational procedures and working practices are current and fit for the purpose.
- Assess enterprise change needs through collaboration and teaming with business leaders, partner functions and change practitioners.
- Engage with leadership (e.g., sponsors, executives) to activate and drive the organizational change management capability.
- Helps assess organizational capacity (skills, knowledge, and behaviors) to achieve strategic and/or financial objectives through reliable sources and tools
- Partners across the organization to develop/refine strategies, systems, structures, processes, jobs, and/or ways of workings to close the gap between capacity, actual performance and desired strategic/financial objectives
- Supports the roll-out of solutions with defined success measures, clear plans and strong communications.
- Tracks performance and evaluates ROI on solutions.

- Bachelor’s degree in organizational behavior, human resources, organizational development, organization effectiveness, communications, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Ten (10) or more years of experience in the development and implementation of change management strategies in support of business objectives
- Seven (7) years of experience managing and developing a team
- Three to Five (3-5) years of experience leading and implementing organizational development initiatives/projects
- At least 2-yrs. of experience contributing to financial decisions in the organization
- At least 3-yrs. of team guidance, indirect guidance and/or cross-functional team guidance
- Experience in project management (planning, organizing, and managing resources to complete specific project goals successfully and objectives)
- Experience presenting and reporting on change strategies, project plans and cost-benefit analyses to executives, senior leaders and impacted stakeholders
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Coaching, influencing, consulting and facilitation skills
- An understanding and appreciation of cultural nuances and ways of working outside of the US
- An ability to cultivate relationships and navigate a globally complex organization model
- Change methodology (e.g., Prosci) certified
- Experience driving projects while working with cross-functional teams
- Experience in establishing new capabilities within a company
