BI Developer

• Designing and developing data warehouse solutions in a sustainable and efficient manner;
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements for reports, KPIs, and discussing feasible solutions;
• Coordinating changes in developments related to data warehouses and reports; Implementing work packages in various test environments and within the live environment, followed by ongoing management;
• Supporting ETL processes;
• Engaging with architects for architecture strategies.

In the Netherlands and Germany, where you will mostly collaborate, a total of 500 people work. The department consists of the Development Team and the Analyst Team. As a BI Developer, you are part of the Development Team, currently consisting of about 10 colleagues. You will work in an international team, with some colleagues living abroad; the organization provides all possibilities for remote work!

As a BI Developer, your responsibilities include designing and developing efficient and sustainable data warehouse solutions. You collaborate with various architects to align the developments of the data warehouse. You actively contribute to BI development by delivering data from the data warehouse, handling reporting, analytical solutions, and data visualization. The focus is on aligning with business requirements, promoting innovation, and optimizing efficiency to work in a data-driven manner and facilitate self-service BI.

• Bachelor-level of education and thinking;
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a BI developer or in a similar role;
• Extensive knowledge of SQL Server 2016;
• Familiarity with tools and techniques such as Visual Studio, TFS, Urban Code, and Versioning;
• Understanding of data warehouse testing and data warehouse architecture; Proficient in English!
