Senior Software Engineer

• Lead the end-to-end development of new features, including gathering requirements, designing solutions, creating technical designs, testing approaches, and updating documentation.
• Collaborate effectively in a feature-oriented environment, prioritizing incremental and sustainable progress.
• Actively gather, refine, and challenge requirements, taking a proactive role in clarifying and defining functional needs.
• Provide input and drive decisions during the requirements phase to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Work closely with peers to discuss ideas, brainstorm creative solutions, and jointly develop smart designs that meet the overall project goals.
• ​​​​​​​Prototype, engineer, and test components to ensure they align with technical and functional requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date and comprehensive documentation for all features and ensure functionality is thoroughly tested before integration.
• ​​​​​​​Review and refine the technical documentation to reflect changes and maintain release-level quality.
• Take ownership of decisions within your scope, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and lead discussions to align team efforts.
• Ensure high-quality code and solutions by conducting design reviews, code reviews, and participating in peer testing processes.

As a Senior Software Engineer you will be part of a dynamic team consisting out of various disciplines, like software, mechanics and electronics. Together with this team you are striving to revolutionise the industry through advanced workflows software applications. You do this by discussing your ideas with peers and jointly develop creative solutions that meet the overall projects objectives. Here you are responsible for the entire cycle, where you design, prototype, engineer, review and test your components. 

The software development environment is buit on Microsoft products, like Azure DevOps, Visual Studie and use the latest .NET framework in which the main coding language is C# and the development is done in a feature way of working. This with the goal to make sure the main line is always on release level to ensure quality and efficiency. 

• A Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar;
• At least 5 years of experience as a Fullstack Developer;
• Experienced in C#, .NET, Angular and Typscript;
• Fluent in English, both written and verbally;
• Eager to learn, proactive and able to speak with different stakeholders within different layers of an organizaiton;
• Ability to adapt to the processes aligned to working in an Enterprise environment. 

• 25 holidays and 12,75 ADV days when working 40 hours a week based on a 38 hour contract;
• A salary up to 5.500 gross a month based on experience and 40 hours a week;
• A 13th month of 8,6%;
